The College Driver published a list of the Top 10 Back to School Cars that offer communicative steering, good fuel economy, media/technology features, safety, an automatic transmission and a reasonable price. Kia's Forte EX earned the top spot because "it's simply really good in all of the categories."

The College Driver published a list of the Top 10 Back to School Cars that offer communicative steering, good fuel economy, media/technology features, safety, an automatic transmission and a reasonable price. Kia's Forte EX earned the top spot because "it's simply really good in all of the categories."
Mitsubishi's Lancer ES was the No. 2 choice. It has masculine styling, tight steering, a well-composed ride and comes standard with seven airbags.
Chosen for the No. 3 spot is the Ford Focus SEL Sedan. SYNC connectivity was among its pluses. This technology uses a combination of voice commands and steering-wheel buttons to provide access to entertainment and connectivity functions while helping drivers keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
The Kia Soul+ ranked No. 4 on the list in large part for its creative design.
Ranking No. 5 on The College Driver's list is the Nissan Versa Hatchback 1.8 SL. It's versatile, feature-laden, safe, and has great handling and a comfortable ride.
